Special models and earlier series
~ A-Series ~
The sticks of the A-series are a little more flexible than those of the S-series and also a little bit lighter. They play with great ease and pull a unique open and clear sound with a wide overtone range. The sound is perfectly balanced. The A-bows work especially well with light built instruments.

~ Cadenza, Concerto, Sinfonia, Sonata ~
The very first Arcus model was made in three major series. The first bows that we made in 1999 had a black painted surface and no engraving. The frogs were all classical square cut. Two years later we introduced the Sinfonia and Cadenza which were the first that sported the new slanted frog.
Weight: ca. 68 g. Octagonal sticks
In 2003 we changed the shape of the head, which got a little wider allowing for a wider strand of hair. The stick were no longer painted but polished and the model name was engraved. All bows now received the lighter, slanted frog.
From 2004 to 2007 we made the third generation of this series. The stick got a little slimmer with a deeper camber. The head was taller and had a completely new shape. The bows got a little more heavy too.
Weight: ca.70 g. Round and octagonal sticks
~ Veloce ~
In late 2004 we introduced the new Veloce. They were quite heavy and pulled a very warm, dark sound.
Weight: ca. 80 g. Round sticks
~ Allegro ~
The Allegro was made in 2006 and 2007. Like the Veloce they were heavier and more flexible, which produced a rather dark sound. The Allegro and the Veloce were the predecessors of the M-series.
Weight: ca. 73 g. Round sticks
