These bows are an alternative to the T-series: perfectly balanced in sound and playing, with medium tension (7.5 mm² hair thickness) and weight, they are suitable for many instruments and most musicians. In contrast to the T-bows, the head and bottom are somewhat lighter, but the stick is slightly heavier. This makes them even more agile and versatile than the T, but of course also a little more nervous, almost like the S. In contrast to the S-bows, they are slightly heavier and therefore warmer and darker in sound.

These A-bows are fitted with a classic square cut frog that is some grams heavier and a thicker silver tip plate. This provides them with an especially steady feel and a somewhat darker sound.

The heavy C- and F-strings of five or six-stringed violins require the strength of viola sticks - but we also want to maintain the agility of violin bows, so they should not be too heavy.
