The *A* bows are an alternative to the T-bows. They also have a medium strong stick with 9.5 mm² thick hair, and they are ideal for medium-sized violas with a free-swinging string length of around 37 cm. The main difference to the T series is the weight distribution. The stick is slightly heavier, but the tip and frog are somewhat lighter. This makes the bow more agile and lively in general, but perhaps also a touch more nervous. The fancy S-series frogs are particularly comfortable to hold and also give these models a very special flair.

The S-bows offer the same elasticity as the P-bows. Due to their lower weight they produce a brighter sound. This makes them especially suitable to large instruments with a rather dark sound.

The A-bows offer the same lightness as the S-bows, but they are more flexible. Their sound is particularly open and clear, with a very light response. They are a great match for smaller and lighter build violas with a string length of less than 27 cm.
