We started making the first Arcus bass bows in 2002. From the onset they were much loved by many bassists as they provided a big and clear sound and an instant response. Their superior elasticity allowed for a very strong play. The weight is a little lower than traditional bows, which improves their agility and the performance in quick passages. German model ca. 125 g, French model ca. 115 g. Shape of the stick: round.

In autumn 2005 we introduced the new Veloce bass bows. With their somewhat more flexible sticks and slightly higher weight they draw an especially warm and full sound.
