It was a bold decision to bet on an S8. But I don't regret it for a moment. First, the bow is beautiful just to look at. And secondly - and of course much more importantly - when played, it offers all the great qualities of the S5, but just more clearly. It also jumps a bit easier than the S5, so it's a bit more like the octagonal version. Nevertheless, it remains firmly on its track,grabs the strings wonderfully and encourages a spirited playing. Simply a pleasure to play such a stable and at the same time so expressive bow!

My original scepticism about carbon bows has given way to Arcus enthusiasm!
